I grew up in Irondequoit, a small town outside of Rochester, NY, where playing sports and being on teams was a big part of my life. Later, when it was time to think about career choices and college, I reached out to my high school athletic trainer. He opened my eyes to the profession, and I stumbled upon Ithaca College’s reputable athletic training program, and the beautiful town of Ithaca. Athletic training at Ithaca College allowed me to combine both my passions for athletics and for helping people. Moving forward, I look to continue my passion for treating and returning patients back to health as Ithaca College has connected me with many promising opportunities.

Whether it was working with the Cornell Women’s Ice Hockey team and having a record-breaking season, the passing of a dear friend and fellow athletic training classmate, or the numerous hours put into my clinical education, they all have the same common theme of relationships. I was looking for a team atmosphere coming to college, and I found something greater, family. I will be forever grateful for Ithaca College’s athletic training program, the staff, and the unforgettable experiences for challenging me to strive for greatness and reminding me to not take anything for granted.
