After graduating high school in a small town in New York, I did not know exactly what I wanted to study in college, so I decided to join the exploratory program. Because of the classes that I took, as well as the professors that I met in freshman year, I realized that the health promotion and physical education program was a perfect fit for me. I have always had a passion for sports and I cannot wait to share this passion with my future students. After graduation, I hope to get a teaching job in health or physical education where I can guide others to become their healthiest selves, both physically and mentally.

The most memorable experience from my time at Ithaca college would have to be student teaching at Boynton Middle School. I had the opportunity to teach seventh grade health classes in the spring semester of my senior year. I taught lessons on stress management, communication, and mental health conditions. This was one of the most challenging and most rewarding experiences and it definitely solidified my pursuit of becoming a teacher.
