I first heard of Ithaca College from a neighbor back home in my small town of Jefferson, NJ.  I was such a homebody back in high school and I never imagined myself moving away.  However, the minute I visited campus, I knew that Ithaca College was where I wanted to spend the next four years of my life.  Exercise and wellness are values that I hold dear to my heart, and I have always aspired to work in a career that allowed me to educate and inspire others.  For these reasons, Ithaca College’s exercise science program seemed like the perfect fit.

I look back on my last four years here with so much gratitude.  Between faculty, staff, and classmates, I have made lifelong connections with people that I will forever cherish.  Specifically, I am eternally grateful for my experiences in the Robert R. Colbert Sr. Wellness Clinic and as a teaching assistant for anatomy and physiology.  In both settings, I was challenged both professionally and personally to step out of my comfort zone, which provided me with endless opportunities to enhance my learning.  I am beyond thankful to have the attended an institution that continuously fostered my love for life-long learning and health.
