From a very young age, I have always enjoyed physical education class. By the time high school came around, I was playing three sports and truly enjoyed the connection I had with my coaches who were also my physical education teachers. At this point, I knew that I wanted to be one of those mentors to teenage girls. I wanted to be a high school teacher and coach. When looking for colleges, there were not many programs near my hometown of Edison, NJ, that had a dual major program for health education and physical education. Upon researching and visiting colleges, I felt that Ithaca College was a perfect fit. They had the program I was looking for along with a strong softball program, it was the best of both worlds for me.

Looking back over the past four years, I would say that finding my softball family here at Ithaca College is by far my most memorable experience. From my first year to my fourth year, this program has given me countless opportunities. Opportunities to grow as a person, create memories that last a lifetime, and give me forever friends. I am beyond thankful to be a bomber.
