What to Wear

Be sure to dress warmly. "Long Johns" are a necessity along with warm sweaters, gloves or mittens, a hat and a warm jacket. Outer clothing should be windproof and snow shedding. It is better to overdress since you will be skiing in the evening after the sun has set (the hill has lights). You cannot rent winter clothing, you must provide your own. For maximum enjoyment of this course, be sure to come prepared for the elements.

Even though the college does not require students to wear helmets, we strongly encourage all students to wear helmets while skiing and boarding (plus they are really warm on those cold days!). Contact your local ski/board store or the store at Greek Peak for more information about helmets.
