The Ithaca College PA Program has been granted Accreditation-Provisional status from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
The Ithaca College PA Program refers to students as learners. We are thrilled to offer a new way for learners to join our college, which honors a diversity of backgrounds in its support of the Southern Tier Region and New York State. In our 27-month academic program, learners will develop the skills necessary to become exemplary health professionals. The PA program will focus on the delivery of safe, patient-centered care, which is effective, efficient, timely, and equitable.
Learners will harness a dedication to continue beyond graduation to expand their skills, create change and positively impact lives. As they progress through the Ithaca College PA Program, they will develop the confidence to mobilize their commitment to health and wellness, and to meet the needs of their community through professional competency.
Graduates of the Ithaca College PA program will not only have the skills to provide distinguished healthcare, but also the ability to advocate for patients, and lead efforts to advance the profession as a whole.
Let us join you in your journey to become an accomplished Physician Assistant.
Sincerely,
Susan M. Salahshor, PhD, PA-C, DFAAPA
