In addition to background information, the application asks you to provide background information, indicate if you are applying for a graduate assistantship, and submit a personal essay. Finally, you are asked to provide contact information for recommenders and grades for prerequisite coursework. The application becomes available annually in mid October prior to the February 1 application deadline.

After you have submitted your application, you will receive an email with a link to set up your personalized IC Connect account. Follow the instructions in the email to set up your portal, and log in to see which pieces of your application have been received. (Please submit any outstanding documents at your earliest convenience.)

- Applications are reviewed in early February and interviews are scheduled, for those moving forward in the admissions process, in mid-February.
- Applicants are typically notified of acceptance by mid-March and the student decision deadline is April 15.
- Applicants who apply for and are awarded a Graduate Assistantship will be notified about a week after the acceptance notice is sent out.
