Growing up in Vermont as a competitive gymnast and later as a coach, it was inevitable that I found myself needing the services of physical therapy, which is where I discovered my passion for the career. Ithaca College captured my attention with its numerous opportunities to work with patients in the campus Occupational and Physical Therapy Clinic, as well as with downtown community members through programs such as Ithaca’s “Falls Prevention Screening.” Moving forward, I will be gearing up for the grad school experience and learning my placement for the first clinical rotation.

Nothing compares to the many Ithaca College "families" and leadership roles that I felt connected to in my first four years at Ithaca College. Holding the position as a resident assistant (RA) for first year students has been especially rewarding. The past two years I have held a floor mural painting event, which has been a highlight of my RA role by bringing a sense of creativity and community to the floor. Every day I cherish the support my residents show for each other, and I find it incredible to watch them grow as Ithaca College community members and as learners in their fields of study.
