About Lauren:

I have always had a strong love for science and can remember from my first science experiment when I extracted DNA from kiwi, I wanted to pursue science as my career. I am a junior biochemistry major and anthropology minor. I am planning to attend graduate school with focus in genetics and epigenetics. My ultimate goal is to become a professor at a teaching college like Ithaca College where I am able to teach classes as well as do research in my own lab.
