Awarded to academically promising student majoring in chemistry or biochemistry.
About Ginny:
Ginny Illingworth is a biochemistry major and has done research in Te-Wen Lo's genetics and developmental lab and plans to get experience in a chemistry lab. In the Lo Lab, Ginny works with C. elegans to investigate rare genetic diseases. Ginny is a learning coach for other students in biology and chemistry courses. She plans on pursuing an MD/PhD
