After graduating from Ithaca College in 2016 with a B.A. in theatre studies and a B.A. in writing, Kelsey worked in community theatre for two years. The first year she was the Production Stage Management Intern at Kalamazoo Civic Theatre in Kalamazoo, MI, where she stage managed Oklahoma!, Side Show, and By the Way, Meet Vera Stark. Additionally she worked as a stage management mentor to their youth theatre program and to their volunteer stage managers on other productions. Following that, she was the Production Stage Manager for Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde Jr. at Broadway Method Academy in Fairfield Connecticut, before moving on to being the Production Stage Manager at Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, NJ for their inaugural season, where she stage managed 15 mainstage productions, including Hairspray, 42ndStreet, The Little Mermaid, A Christmas Carol, and much more.
Outside of work, she is dedicated to her yoga study and indulging in the natural beauty of Ithaca. She enjoys travelling, discovering vineyards or wineries, and exploring various breweries. In her free time, she is easily found in Stewart Park with a book, notepad, and pen (in the warmer months) or drinking tea with a book and cuddling a cat in the colder months. She is delighted to be back in her favorite city, back at work in the office she loved working in so much as a student.
