START OFF WITH A BANG AND IT JUST KEEPS GOING.
Never stop learning! Students are hands-on from day one: selling tickets, promoting shows and providing great service to patrons. Each year, responsibilities, experience and skills increase and grow.
PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM WITH CAREER DEVELOPMENT TRAJECTORY FROM END-TO-END.
Following a robust freshmen year, students are prepared to enter the world of professional work as interns and apprentices at summer companies such as Spoleto Festival and Glimmerglass. Faculty work with students to reflect on their work experiences and build their professional portfolios.
LEARN WITH THE PROS
Students graduate with abundant professional experience. One internship is required, and students typically complete 3-4 internships during their four years at companies such as Disney and Roundabout.
WORKING WITH ARTISTS, BUSINESS, TV, FILM AND COMMUNICATIONS:

FLUID NETWORK OF ALUMS IN COMMERCIAL AND NON-PROFIT ARTS ORGANIZATIONS.
TAM students take advantage of a network of successful alums who are more than willing to give them that foot in the door and help with internship and job placement. Alums visit on-campus classes and participate in the New York City based "Field Studies" experience for graduating seniors.
