• Student must be a major within the Theatre Arts Management major 
    • Preference will be given to students with Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing
  • Must be available to work up to 5 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Acquiring and demonstrating a thorough knowledge:
    • Rehearsal and Performance course for Theatre Arts Management students
    • Practicum assignments for Theatre Arts Management students
    • Theatre Arts Management program policies and procedures
    • Theatre seating maps, specifically for Clark Theatre configurations
    • Tracking student attendance and participation
    • Attend TAM activities and events
    • Create weekly agendas
    • Read season's plays and coordinate with TAM faculty to create quizzes to assess TAM students' comprehension.
    • Coordinate with TAM faculty to create quizzes on policies, procedures, house maps, and front-of-house to assess theatre arts management students’ comprehension
    • Resolve Theatre Arts Management student problems and issues
    • Resolve problems with Theatre Arts Management Sakai site
    • Knowledge of activities and events required for students enrolled in Rehearsal and Performance for Theatre Arts Management
    • Troubleshoot discrepancies in cash/credit/debit for box office and concessions reconciliation 
    • Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts
    • Assign minutes-takers for appropriate meetings and manage the minutes-taking schedule
    • Coordinate with house managers to arrange Clark Theatre chair load-in 
    •  Proofread minutes drafts and other program documents
    • Complete, distribute, and documents and forms correctly
    • Perform, teach, and enforce policies and procedures
    • Model appropriate professional behavior and attire 
    • Report problems with students to Theatre Arts Management faculty and staff
    • Other duties as assigned 

Hours: up to 5 hours per week
