Master of Music in Composition

  • Applicants must submit at least three representative original scores, and recordings if available. Scores should exhibit a variety of instrumentation and/or vocal forces. After an initial screening, selected candidates will be invited for an interview with the composition faculty, usually on School of Music audition days in February.

  • Scores should be submitted via ArtsApp. There is a $10 fee associated with this submission. Questions should be directed to: Townsend Plant, Director of Music Admission Assistant Dean for Preparatory, and Summer Programs
