Through a grant from the Ithaca College Travel Funding for Music Graduate Students, Justin Canzano performed at the 2011 United States Navy International Saxophone Symposium in Washington D.C. Top performers, teachers, and students came from around the world to attend this annual event. Through the same grant, Justin also performed at the North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA) Regional Conference at West Point Academy, NY, where world renowned French saxophonist Claude Delangle was a featured guest artist.

Justin was a finalist in the 2010-2011 Ithaca College Concerto Competition, and graduated with a M.M. Saxophone Performance Degree in May 2011. He studied saxophone with Dr. Steven Mauk and Dr. Timothy Rosenberg at Ithaca College. Prior to his two-year graduate teaching position at Ithaca, Justin completed a B.S. Music Education Degree and a B.F.A. Saxophone Performance Degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he studied saxophone with Dr. Keith Young (Principal, U.S. Air Force Band, Ret.). Justin is currently a freelance woodwind artist/educator, and also is pursuing a M.S. Music Education Degree through the summer music education program at Ithaca College.
