Frequently Asked Questions

How does hands-on learning benefit my son or daughter after graduation?

In the real world, work isn't completed in the lecture hall. An Ithaca College education allows students to learn while doing. Over the course of four years, your son or daughter will have the opportunity to intern; to participate in extracurricular and cocurricular activities; to study abroad; and otherwise to prepare for the world beyond college.

To find out more about the kinds of hands-on experiences your son or daughter can expect in a specific major, browse our list of academic program descriptions on the admission site. And be sure to check out our student-written magazine, Ithaca College Fuse, for first-person stories from students participating in a wide variety of activities beyond the classroom at Ithaca.
