Frequently Asked Questions

How does the College deal with substance abuse?

We work proactively to steer students away from the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and we provide a number of resources to help those looking to overcome addictions. The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is equipped to handle substance-abuse concerns and holds several student-oriented programs on the topic each year. Students also may discuss the topic during one of our first-year seminars. Furthermore, students are encouraged to read information about the health risks associated with drugs and alcohol, which is readily available from the health center and CAPS.
