Frequently Asked Questions
What can I do outside of class?
What can't you do outside of class? Ithaca College is a hub of intensive activity. You can choose to participate in any of our more than 200 student organizations. We have organizations dedicated to community service, computing, cultural connections, and a wide variety of other activities and interests. You can get involved with groups like Amnesty International, or serve in student government, or even start your own organization.
You can conduct research on campus, pairing up with a professor or other students to present your results. You can also get involved in the greater community by working as a volunteer or an intern, or by performing at venues like the Hangar or Kitchen Theatres.
And if that's not enough, you can explore the Finger Lakes region: we're on the south end of Cayuga Lake, and our gorges, waterfalls, and pristine vistas are inviting to trail trekkers and day hikers alike.
