Frequently Asked Questions
Does Ithaca College have resources to help me look for a job or graduate school?
Yes! Visit the Office of Career Services to learn about the job and graduate school search process (they can even help you figure out your career goals). Career counseling is available, through which you can take a personality or interest assessment, and even have a practice interview. You’ll be able to connect with recruiters at 11 career fairs, during on-campus employer information sessions, and through the eRecruiting database (3,043 jobs and internships have been posted by 1,252 organizations so far this academic year).
If it’s graduate study you’re looking for, again we’re here to assist. At our most recent graduate and professional school fair, 135 schools were on hand to talk with our students about programs of interest and preparation for careers. Engage with Career Services through workshops, drop-ins with Peer Career Advisors (trained student volunteers), counseling appointments, and on-campus recruiting to maximize your potential for career success.
