Frequently Asked Questions

What if I get sick?

Medical attention is available right on campus in the Hammond Health Center, which is staffed by full-time college physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and lab technicians. You may get medications, X-rays, and laboratory testing; and continue established treatment regimens, such as allergy desensitization. The Hammond Health Center works closely with Cayuga Medical Center and with local and regional specialists in virtually every discipline to provide referrals whenever off-campus care is necessary.

Also located on the ground floor of Hammond Health Center is the college’s Center for Counseling and Psychological Services, which offers short-term individual, group, and relationship counseling, crisis intervention, and anonymous mental health screenings.
