Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity?

The Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity (CSCRE) offers four inter- and multidisciplinary minors, in African Diaspora, Latino/a, Asian American, and Native American Studies, that foreground the experiences of ALANA people who have traditionally been marginalized, underrepresented, or misrepresented in the United States and in college curricula.

The Center also hosts a yearly Discussion Series, as a form of outreach to on and off-campus communities and, in that role, invites scholars, community organizers, artists, performers, and students to present their work at Ithaca College.
