Study-abroad options at Ithaca

Is studying abroad important to you? The staff in Ithaca's Office of International Programs can help you select a program that matches your personal interests and needs. Here are just a few of your options:

The Ithaca College London Center

Our London Center is one of the longest-running American study-abroad programs of its kind. Located in a restored Victorian mansion, the center offers summer, semester, or academic-year experiences in the heart of the United Kingdom. A variety of internship opportunities are also available throughout the city. Recent participants have interned with the Royal National Theater, the BBC, and the British Parliament, among other organizations.

Ithaca Exchange Programs

From Spain to Sweden, Canada to the Dominican Republic, Singapore to Hong Kong, our more independent programs provide students with academically and socially rewarding exchange experiences with foreign universities while enabling Ithaca to host a diverse set of students on its own campus. We travel extensively and maintain close relations with each partner institution to ensure they meet Ithaca's standards for excellence.

Short-Term Study-Abroad Programs

If you don't have the time to commit to a semester study-abroad program, Ithaca offers a variety of short-term (two- to four-week) study-abroad programs during the winter and summer sessions each year. Some programs we've offered include

  • South Korea: Cross-Cultural Documentary Research and Production
  • Ghana: African Drum and Dance Performance
  • Italy: Language and Culture in Siena; Photographic Projects in Florence
