What clubs/organizations are you involved in?

  • Ithaca Athletic Training Students’ Association
  • EquAT & InclusivAT is another organization for athletic training majors. I work with faculty to facilitate awareness of diversity and inclusivity topics in the major and profession, as well as do work with grants from the National Athletic Training Association.

Have you been engaged in research, internship opportunities, student teaching, or conferences?

I’ve been able to work with Ithaca College’s football team and Cornell’s wrestling team as my clinical rotations during my junior year, allowing me to work with athletes at Division 3, Division 1, and the Olympic level all within the span of a year. I also attended the Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association conference in January 2020 along with other students and faculty members.

Why did you choose Ithaca College?

I chose Ithaca College because of the close interaction with faculty and the student body. When I talked with an alum of the program as well as current students, it was clear to me that the faculty and students function as one big family. There is tremendous interaction and learning that not only is facilitated by faculty but also happens from student to student due to the proximity that everyone in the program works and studies in.
