- I have done fieldwork at Cayuga Ridge, a skilled nursing facility, for my Fieldwork in Gerontology class.
- I have done a quilting club at Longview, an assisted living community, where some of the residences (ages 65–94) taught me how to quilt for my Age Matters class.
Are you involved in IC athletics?
IC Club Softball (secretary)
What is the best class that you’ve taken so far and why?
The best class I have taken was Understanding Disability taught by Joanie Groome, who is an amazing professor and person. The class allowed me to swim with children with disabilities once a week at the Athletics and Events Center. The class talked about disability rights and what it means to have a disability in today’s society. It was a very eye-opening class and the highlight of my semester.
