What clubs/organizations you are involved in on campus?
I’m a producer for “After Hours”, Ithaca College Television’s one and only late night comedy show! I’ve also been a writer, editor, production assistant, prompter, graphic designer, and cast member on a variety of other ICTV shows like “Pop Access” and “Fake Out”. I practically live in the TV studios at the Park School.
Are you involved in IC athletics?
The closest I’ve gotten to being a student athlete was watching the Cortaca Jug from my comfy stadium seat.
What is the best class that you've taken so far, and why?
The best class I’ve taken at IC is Writing for Screen Media with professor David Negrin. I had chosen screenwriting based on nothing more than a hunch that I’d like it, and this class gave me all of the foundational knowledge I needed to be great at it. I fell in love with screenwriting and grew my confidence through every workshop when my peers would laugh at my script and all of my jokes would land.
Is there anything else you would want to share with a prospective student?
The first year of college can be really scary, but it helps to remember that you earned your spot there for a reason! Make the most of every opportunity you have so long as it is something you’re truly passionate about, and know that you belong there.
