Overview of Selection Process

Students will be selected via a multi-step selection process. There is a written application and recommendation that all students must submit by the deadline. As part of the application, students must email an unofficial academic transcript and resume to bold@ithaca.edu by the deadline. There is then a two-stage interview process. The first is a group interview, which all eligible applicants will be invited to. After the group interview, a subgroup of finalists will be selected to participate in an individual interview. From the pool of all applicants, the final cohort of about 10 students will be selected by the end of May. A student's application, recommendation(s), group interview evaluations, and individual interview evaluations will all be taken into consideration.

Students ultimately will be selected on the basis of financial need, merit, and leadership potential, with an eye toward the creation of a diverse cohort.
