A strong support system, well rounded education and passion for connecting with others that have had much different life experiences than myself.
Who at IC supported you on your journey?
My friends/classmates, as well as the entire career services team! I can not thank them enough for their guidance, love and support.
What advice would you offer to students?
Push yourself out of your comfort zone! Whether it's moving to a country where you don't know anyone or speak the local language (like what I did haha), applying to that job you don't feel qualified for, learning a new skill or even just talking to a stranger the only way to grow is to put yourself out there, and pushing through that discomfort. The best stories never come from playing it safe.
