I have been on the staff of CAPS since 1998 and it has been a joy and privilege! I have a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a concentration in clinical practice, and have worked in the field of mental health throughout my career. I did my undergraduate work at the College of William & Mary in Virginia.

I love meeting students and talking through their life experiences. I work collaboratively with students toward a variety of goals, with relational, cognitive behavioral, and systems models informing much of my work style. While I am a generalist, I have some special areas of interest including eating disorders, anxiety and depression, and couples and family conflict. I like helping students develop greater awareness of themselves, experience emotional freedom, and develop satisfying relationships with themselves and others.

In my free time I enjoy choral singing, ballet, cooking, movies, and spending time with friends and family.
