I feel privileged to have joined the CAPS team in August 2019.  Prior to coming to IC, I worked at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and Adams State University, a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) in southern Colorado. I work within a feminist systems perspective, and believe the client-therapist relationship is where the magic is.  Specialty areas include working with emergent adults, trauma, suicide intervention, and LGBTQIA+ populations. Working with college students is my passion; I’m inspired the mix of opportunities and collaboration that come from working on a university campus.   I was a scholar-athlete in my undergraduate career, playing defense for the TCNJ women’s soccer program. Currently, I am also pursuing a doctoral degree in Counselor Education & Supervision from Adams State University. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings and am a certified trainer in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), safeTALK, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

I am originally from southern NJ, and a longtime vegan and animal advocate. I enjoy Netflix (Pose, The Office, Wentworth), running, cooking, and spending time with my 3 dogs and cat.
