My work has included 20 years of clinical experience in a range of settings, including a child and adolescence team supervised by child psychiatrists. My recent work focuses on children and adults presenting with symptoms of ADHD, depression, and anxiety. I’ve had extensive experience in the treatment of addictions and their impact on families and significant others. Further practice focus includes men in transition, brief solution focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. My education includes a master’s degree in clinical social work and public policy from Rockefeller College of Public Policy and Social Welfare in Albany, NY
While in Ithaca I was fortunate enough to work on a multi-discipline team lead by a Chinese physician. The eastern and western approach to health care and healing broadened my understanding of the human condition and approaches to wellness.
The clinicians of CAPS provide an intelligent, compassionate, and thoughtful approach to the mental health of Ithaca College. I am pleased and enjoying my position with Counseling and Psychological Services at Ithaca College (CAPS) and look forward to collaborating with students to address any mental health concerns.
