Be Tick Free at IC

Tick-borne infections have become a concern in our area.

In 2018, the Center for Health Promotion partnered with the Tompkins County Health Department on a new "Be Tick Free at IC" initiative.

CHP continues this program by providing free tick removal kits to the IC Community. The kit contains a pair of pointed tweezers, a NYS Tick ID Card, alcohol prep pads, bandages, and a link to a tick removal video.

If you're a member of the IC community, you can get your free tick removal kit in the CHP Resource Room, located in the lower level of the Hammond Health Center or in the Counseling, Health & Wellness Outreach Center in main entrance of the Hammond Health Center.
