|Improving cultural awareness and understanding on the IC campus|
The Diversity Peer Education Program seeks to improve cultural awareness and understanding at Ithaca College, as well as enhance each student's comprehensive knowledge of and relationship to issues of diversity and social justice.
Educators facilitate interactive workshops with peers through the Student Leadership Institute, Residential Life, Student Government Association, and other student-based initiatives on an ongoing basis.
Request a session with a Diversity Peer Educator
The DPE program works in a variety of settings, and presents on a variety of topics. Students, staff, and faculty interested in working with DPEs should consider what type of session they would like to hold, determine the time frame, and fill out the diversity peer educator request form at least two weeks in advance.
Visit the DPE Program website for full details on how become a DPE or request a session with an educator.
