Applicants to Ithaca College School of Business graduate programs may be required to complete additional undergraduate accounting and/or business coursework depending on their undergraduate degree and prior coursework. 

Students who are currently pursuing non-business degrees or did pursue a non-business degree but are interested in business graduate programs are encouraged to obtain the preparatory undergraduate business coursework by completing these classes during their undergraduate study prior to graduation.

Preparatory Undergraduate Coursework for an MBA in Entertainment and Media Management

  • Applicants with a bachelor's degree in business or accounting do not need any additional preparatory coursework.
  • Microsoft Office Excel Basic Certification is required before enrollment.
  • Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in a non-business field must have completed the following additional undergraduate business coursework or its equivalent:

Applicants who have not completed the above undergraduate coursework may complete it at other accredited institutions or pass the corresponding Ivy Software-Graduate products as shown in the table.
