New Staff in Conference and Event Services

After a Fall Semester full of search and selection processes, the Office of Conference and Event Services is pleased to announce that a number of staff will be joining the office, or assuming new roles in the Spring Semester.

Kris Shields will be assuming the position of Business Coordinator. Kris previously worked as the Scheduling Coordinator in the office for a number of years, and has been instrumental in the implementation of the R25 scheduling system on campus.

Paul Galgoczy will be the new Audio Visual Services Coordinator, starting on January 2, 2007. Paul brings many years of experience, most recently with Branchini Sound in Ithaca, New York and at the Florida Atlantic University Performing Arts Center in Boca Raton, Florida.

Kim Wojtanik will start on January 8, 2007 as the new Scheduling Coordinator. Kim has many years of general and event experience at Ithaca College, most recently as an Administrative Assistant in Career Services.

Please welcome these staff to their new roles. We anticipate a period of training and transition to begin in early January, and thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation as so many staff assume new roles in the Office of Conference and Event Services.
