David Negrin is a professor, VR director, screenwriter and non-profit founder.

He is currently an Assistant Professor of film, television, and emerging media at Ithaca College. He was previously an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University and The New School in New York, NY.

He was Executive Director of the NYC Screenwriters Collective, the largest non-profit screenwriting workshop in New York City from 2007-2015.

His areas of research in Emerging Media are: Virtual Reality, Game Design, and Transmedia Storytelling. His areas of research in Film Studies include: pedagogy of collaborative writing.

He is Host of 'The Script Podcast' and Moderator of @ScriptFeed.

David was born and raised in New York City. He is an alumnus of the Bronx High School of Science.
