Lecture-Recital by guest pianist Nancy Roldán

Argentine pianist Nancy Roldán (former faculty, Peabody Conservatory-Johns Hopkins University) has concertized around the world having premiered numerous compositions, particularly of Latin American composers. Ms. Roldán will present a lecture recital entitled "Ancestry, Evolution, and Transformation in the music of Latin-America," in which she will perform and discuss pieces by major Argentine composers such as Carlos Guastavino and Alberto Ginastera as well as music from Venezuelan and Peruvian composers.
