Dr. Xinxin Li is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Finance and International Business department. She joined Ithaca College in the fall 2018 after completing her Ph.D. in finance at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May 2018. Dr. Li’s primary research interest is corporate finance, i.e., mergers and acquisitions, capital structure, and investment policy. She has published in the Quarterly Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial Education, Review of Finance Case Research, etc., and has several working papers in the pipeline. Dr. Li has taught various undergraduate and graduate-level finance courses, including Business Finance, International Finance, Introduction to Personal Finance, Introduction to Python in Finance, Personal Financial Planning and Wealth Management, Financial Markets and Institutions, and Finance and Economics for MBA Entertainment Industry. Aside from her academic life, Xinxin also enjoys travel, movies, and food. She is a Carolina Panthers football fan.
