My advice is to know that recieving an education is not an easy road. It is okay to ask for help sometimes. Just know that you will make it through and it will all be worth it in the end.

What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?

Being a First-Generation College Graduate means that all the work my family and I did finally paid off. I would not be where I am today without my family.

What is your proudest moment from your time at Ithaca College?

My proudest moment at Ithaca college was recieving an award at the 2019 Whalen Symposium for my research in Abnormal Psychology.

Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

My parents and sisters support gave me the courage I needed to continue my education. There were times that I felt I did not have it in me to finish college. Thank you for never giving up on me and keeping me from giving up on myself.

Thank you Professor Hugh Stephenson for guiding me in deciding on my career path. Thank you Dr. Leah Murphy for helping me stay mentally strong through the tough times

Are there any Clubs, Activities, or Involvements that you were a part of at Ithaca College?

The Ithaca College Equestrian Team became my family away from home. My time with the girls and the horses will always be cherished.

What do you plan or hope to do now that you have graduated?

Now that I have graduated I plan on pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Work
