By Noah Dunne, Exploratory student with a minor in Honors, '23, FLEFF blogging intern, Beverly, Massachusetts.

This week I was able to catch Dr. Auyash leaving his office for a quick five-minute interview. This was due mostly to a misunderstanding on my part, but I was still glad to speak to him and get his input even If it was for a short amount of time.

As a health activist and world traveller, Dr. Stewart Auyash encompasses the interdisciplinary aspect of FLEFF.  He currently holds the position as chair of the Public Health Department at Ithaca College, teaches a plethora of classes ranging from Hunger, War and Genocide to Critical Health Issues, as well as advising many students, including myself.
