Marissa Iamartino

Marissa Iamartino is a New England based artist who uses photography, writing, and an exploratory practice to examine a world in perpetual flux. She constructs visual narratives that consider Luck, history, relationships, and our own transient nature. Marissa holds a BFA in Photography from the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, where she was the recipient of the Abelardo Morell Thesis Prize and the Annie Cox Italian Culture Award. Her work has been exhibited at Flash Forward Festival Boston, the Griffin Museum of Photography, and most recently, she has worked for a non-profit, teaching artistic practices to children living with serious illnesses.
