Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Glen Cebulash - Painter. Lectured "Thoughts on Painting" at Handwerker Gallery, October 6th 6pm. In conjunction with "The Figure" exhibition at Handwerker Gallery. Glen Cebulash is Professor and Department Chair at Wright State University, Dayton, OH.  He received his BFA from Boston Univeristy and his MFA from The American University.  He has exhibited widely throughout the United States and most recently in the traveling exhibition "The Figure" shown at Handwerker Gallery, Ithaca, NY, Alexandre Hogue Gallery, The University of Tulsa, Tulsa, OK, and the Leedy-Voulkos Art Center, Kansas City, MO

Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Karen Kunc - Printmaker. Williams Hall Rm 225, Thursday, Feb 24, 2011, event time: 1:10-2:25pm.  Karen Kunc's work as an artist/printmaker addresses her natural surroundings from her Nebraska heritage and in her own words "the larger issues of the eternal life struggle, of endurance and vulnerability, growth and destruction".  Kunc is a renowned printmaker who has exhibited her work most recently in 2010 at the Art Zone Gallery in Cairo, Egypt; Wheaton College, Norton, MA; and the ColaPasta Gallery, Seoul Korea. Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Stanley Lewis- Painter  Textor Room 103, Wednesday, October 20th, 2010 event time: 2pm.  Stanley Lewis received a BA from Wesleyan University, a BFA and MFA from Yale University and was a Danforth Fellow.  Lewis was a member of the Bowery Gallery from 1986-2008, and is currently represented by the prestigious gallery Lohin Geduld Gallery, NYC. Lewis has taught at Kansas City Art Institute; American University, DC; Smith College, MA; and Parson School of Design, NY.  He was Artist-in-Residence at Dartmouth College, NH in 2011.  Some recent exhibitions include a solo exhibition at Lohin Geduld Gallery, NYC 2010; 2009 American Academy of Arts and Letters and he received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2005.

Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Spencer Finch- Sculptor "Beauty and the Scientific Method", March 2009, Thursday, 7:00 pm, Textor 102 Part of the 2009 C.P. Snow Lecture Series.  Finch is an international acclaimed sculptor who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.  Some of Finch's most recent exhibitions in 2010 and 2009 include the Corcoran Gallery of Art, DC; Galerie Nordenhake, Berlin; Postmasters Gallery, NY;  and Rhona Hoffman Gallery, Chicago.  Spencer Finch website.
