Neuroscience Minor

Neuroscience is a vital interdisciplinary field of training in science. Advances in cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, and psychology have all contributed to the creation of this field of study. Neuroscientists work in many areas of the basic and clinical sciences. The minor has both classroom and laboratory components, which are divided into four major categories:

  1. introduction
  2. specialty areas: behavioral neuroscience and behavioral neuroscience laboratory; neurobiology
  3. electives: listed below; and
  4. capstone: seminar in neuroscience.
