Events to have on your radar:

Opening Seminar for Spring 2010 - February 2 at 12:00 PM in CNS 204: Research Roundup - Faculty members who are going to be doing research during the Summer will present.  Students who want to be considered for summer research support must attend the research roundup.

Physics Cafe February 3, at 6:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites - Dr. Matthew Sullivan will discuss the “super” in superconductors and describe some of their amazing properties, including the two hallmarks of zero electrical resistance and magnetic levitation and suspension.  He will also bring superconductors to life with demonstrations of levitation, suspension, and MagLev trains.  Don't miss it!

FYI - Mathematica Availability:  Thanks to the Math Department, Mathematica is now available for use on the Physics Student Room computers.
