Kodak EktaPro 35mm slide projector

KODAK Ektapro 9020, manufactured ca. 1995

The Kodak line of 35mm slide projectos has a long history. The first one, the Kodaslide Projector (#2 in our collection) was made in 1937. The first Carousel projectors, those using a round tray, were introduced in 1961. This type of 35mm slide projector was the industry standard until the demise of the slide projectors in 2004. The Art History department here at Ithaca College, purchased this model around 1995 and was finally retired this year.
