Wednesday, May 11th our seniors were honored at the Second Annual HS&HP Senior awards ceremony. Professional Excellence awards were given to Miranda Loetscher in Athletic Training, Andrea Bossone in Clinical Exercise Science and Brendan Manning in Exercise Science. The Dean's award was given to Danielle Jarvis with a gpa of 3.963. Congratulations to all of them for all of their hard work!
On April 9th the school of Health Science and Human Performance (HSHP) held an open house for accepted students.
Richard Simmons the "court jester of fitness" stopped by Ithaca College on Saturday, October 9, to participate in the Health and Fitness Expo 2004. The department of Exercise & Sport Sciences majors club was "Sweatin' to the Oldies" right along with him!
2/10/05 - Air Force Captain Julie Skinner (athletic training, fitness & cardiac rehab, B.S. '95) speaks to ESS students about using her IC education in the military. Julie serves as a flight nurse on missions to Iraq and conducts exercise testing for military recruits.
