At Ithaca College, wellness is multi-faceted. We believe that a successful and sustainable worksite wellness program should address every aspect of our most important component - YOU! To do so, the MBM program takes advantage of both on-campus as well as off-campus resources. eni (the College's Employee Assistance Program provider) also provides oversight of the wellness program and coordinates with on-campus resources to provide the latest tools and resources to help you create a personalized wellness plan.
Mind, Body, Me Resources
Annual Health Assessments (required)
When beginning to take charge of your own health, there are certain numbers that are important to know. By knowing your numbers, you'll be on the road to a healthier life. Mind, Body, Me ensures that you know these numbers through annual health screenings and assessments, which include:
Biometric Screening: A nurse administers this screening and will check your blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, and cholesterol levels.
Health Risk Assessment (HRA) & Health Coach Call: This assessment generates a report that identifies key areas of health and wellness concerns and gives recommendations designed to help you achieve optimal health. After completion, you meet with a health coach to review the HRA and help design a wellness plan that is aligned with your goals.
Each assessment is given on an annual basis to help you determine and set annual goals. These assessments are a required feature of the Mind, Body, Me program.
Jeffery Haley, LMT and owner of the Massage Station, comes on campus to offer FREE chair massages to our Mind, Body, Me members! This is part of our continued commitment to promote wellness at Ithaca College and support a healthier you!
20 minute massage sessions will be offered from three times a month on a first come, first served basis in the Office of Human Resources. Members will receive emails with sign up information for the session times, so keep an eye out! Please remember that member may only sign up for a free massage once every three months to allow other the chance to participate as well.
