 Ultimately, all HR functions will be moving to HCM Cloud.  More information regarding the transition of these functionalities will be released throughout implementation via email.

Timeline

Core HR is the component that creates and stores employees' personnel records and houses information such as date of birth, address, identification number and more. This module will continue to have a “self-service” function to allow employees to update addresses and personal information online, as well as a manager "self-services" function. 

Spring 2019

Compensation provides seamless integration and a common user experience with modules essential to the College's compensation planning process. Employee records, security structures and hierarchies from Core HR can be leveraged to provide a secure means of distributing budgets and allocating merit increments and awards to employees. Integration with the Performance Management module provides real-time performance updates to give managers the information needed to connect pay with performance.

Performance Management captures formal and informal feedback from multiple sources to provide a rich, well-rounded review of employees’ performance throughout the year and offers ongoing activity through continuous conversations on goals, alignment, checkpoints, and coaching to enhance performance.

Profile Management provides a framework for developing and managing talent profiles. Profiles summarize the qualifications and skills of an employee or a position. Profiles are valuable for tracking skills, competencies, and accomplishments, and for various talent management activities, such as career planning, identifying training needs, and performance management.

Help Desk (HR) enables employees to quickly and securely submit requests to HR and find answers to HR questions from any device and any location.

Recruiting enables hiring managers to track and measure complete information about their talent across the HR spectrum. It keeps the candidate experience at the center of the recruiting process by leveraging innovative technologies to provide candidates, both external and internal, with a compelling experience.

Payroll ensures the payroll management process is accurate and efficient while complying with local, state, and federal taxation and payroll rules.

Benefits enables HR to manage and deliver comprehensive benefits program and offer employees the ability to view and enroll in benefits online.

Time & Labor supports a wide range of time recording needs for employees with full drag and drop capabilities, as well as the ability to enter time or absences in a fast, easy way. This will mean a new way of completing time cards and entering in time away from work.

Absence Management creates absence plans that enable employees to accrue time for the purpose of taking paid leave, for example, a vacation plan or short-term disability leave.

Goal Management empowers employees to set and share meaningful goals and track progress on an ongoing basis. This module aligns with the Performance Management module and allows for seamless integration of goals for individuals, departments, and the Ithaca College.

Succession Planning offers flexibility so managers can create succession plans in a way needed for the department or division. Using the succession overview allows managers to quickly visualize the strength of each succession plan.

Wellness allows employees to set wellness goals and to participate in wellness competitions across campus.
