Kristen Ford to Lead Special Fund-Raising Efforts

Ford has been named director of special campaigns, working within the Office of Institutional Advancement to oversee fund-raising efforts for a field house as well as for other projects that have been identified as priorities in the College's master plan for campus development.

Rick Couture Named Director of Physical Plant

In his new duties he will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and construction of the College's buildings, grounds, and rental properties as well as the College's recycling and waste management programs.

Ithaca College Takes Second In Sears Directors' Cup

IC's second place in the final standings for the Division III Sears Directors' Cup marks the school's highest position in the seven years of the competition.

Alumni Association Officers and Board Members Take Office

Three officers and five members of the Ithaca College Alumni Association Board of Directors began their elected three-year terms at the board's annual meeting June 3.

Two Staff Members Are Recipients of Whalen Scholarships

Established in 1997 to honor the late president emeritus James J. Whalen, the annual awards give $200 to eligible staff members enrolled in a degree program at the College.

Ithaca College Alumni Association Presents Four Awards

The Alumni Association paid tribute to three distinguished graduates and one service group during Alumni Weekend.

Gavin MacLeod was one of the members of the class of 1952 who celebrated their 50th reunion during Alumni Weekend.

Ithaca College Hosts Police Bicycle Patrol School

Thirty-five bicycle patrol officers from municipal police departments and campus safety and security offices throughout New York and Canada were on campus.

Summer Piano Institute to Offer Three Free Concerts

All three concerts will be held in the Hockett Family Recital Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music.

Day of Learning

Hands-on training in CPR was one of the opportunities during the Day of Learning held on campus June 27.
