James Conklin Appointed Interim Associate Dean

Conklin will help in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of academic programs in the school, working closely with departments and programs on curricular matters while providing administrative support to other school committees and initiatives.

The National Science Foundation has awarded Ithaca College $213,000 to help boost the number of students from traditionally underrepresented groups in the fields of mathematics and computer science.

Physics Professor to Pioneer Study of Asteroids

Beth Ellen Clark Joseph has been granted a $28,330 Cottrell College Science Award from the Research Corporation to study the composition of a mysterious group of heavenly bodies known as X-type asteroids.

Day of Learning

The winter Day of Learning for faculty and staff featured a dynamic keynote address by Dan Pukstas, professor of English and associate dean at Tompkins Cortland Community College.
