ICQ -- 2001/No. 3 Time Passages: Commencement 2001
There's something to learn at every age, as the newest alumni will discover firsthand.

"When you joined the many new faces on this campus, I was one of those new faces. Together we shared an excitement for the possibilities and opportunities ahead of us..."
-- Peggy R. Williams

"By the authority vested in me by the regents of the University of the State of New York and the trustees of Ithaca College, I hereby confer upon each of you the degree for which you have been recommended by the faculty, with all the rights, privileges, and honors pertaining thereto."

With those words delivered at the May 19 Commencement ceremony by President Peggy R. Williams, the 1,318 members of the class of 2001 officially made their passage from students to alumni.
